Las Vegas - A.P.I has teamed up with Master Illusionist and mystifier Shawn Anthony, to bring forth a unique experience in magic and entertainment with their new entertainment vehicle Cirque Du Magic. The show is an exploration deep inside the realms of magic and mystery in the form of a surreal world uniquely woven together by the distinctive imaginations of Shawn Anthony and his team of world class entertainers.
The show will begin touring the summer of 2010 in California and make its way around the world.
Unlike traditional magic-styled shows, Cirque Du Magic transcends any preconceived
notion of what it means to be emotionally engaged by the arts of mysticism and illusion
in a way that is so unique the audience won't believe their eyes. A fantasy world with a highly theatrical tableau of mood, reverie and emotion set against a backdrop of dreamlike places and Victorian Gothic characters.
Shawn Anthony stars as a surreal, enigmatic Victorian Vampire. Along a path of imaginative exploration, he encounters Christian Diamond and Jessica Felice, two magicians who represent different aspects of life as they go through his life from modern times to his past adventures. Also part of the production is an intense troupe of characters who mix a multitude of styles into a high-energy visual feast, punctuated by
moments of grace and sensuality.
The stunning illusions in Cirque Du Magic are not presented as standalone elements, but as interdependent components using heightened imagery, fantastical creatures and impossible feats of legerdemain, all of which are integrated into the dazzling, colorful fabric of the story.
Shawn Anthony is recognized as one of the most provocative artists in the world today. In an attempt to pay homage to the late/great Harry Houdini, Shawn Anthony will challenge himself at each performance with a different escape created by the master himself Harry Houdini. Their have been many entertainment productions created around the theme of magic, none like this. A.P.I. creates shows that help raise money for "Entertainment for a Good Cause Charity. Every performance of Cirque Du Magic will contribute a portion of all ticket sales to this cause.
